Université Laval - Alumni
Université Laval has over 208 000 alumni. More than 8 000 newcomers
join their ranks every year. Graduates from Université Laval's bachelor,
master's and doctoral programs can be found throughout Quebec and Canada
and around the world, taking active roles in all fields of human endeavour
and enriching society and their peers with valuable contributions.
The Association des diplômés de l'Université Laval is
increasingly active. It provides a number of services, including an employment
service available to members in good standing two years after they graduate,
enrollment grants, and housing grants and bursaries for handicapped students.
Annual meetings are also organized for alumni in the following
regions: Quebec City, Montreal, Lower Saint Lawrence/Gaspé, North
Shore, Eastern Townships, Mauricie, Northwestern Quebec, Ottawa Valley,
Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean , Atlantic provinces, U.S. Northeast and Toronto.
Members living in Europe meet periodically.
Three times a year, they also receive Contact magazine, published by Université
Laval's Communications Department, which has been ranked the best university
magazine in Canada on several occasions.
